We Are Looking for the Best.
Mindset of Champions does not lower the bar for the students we serve. That means we do not lower the bar for the adults who teach them. If you are a working professional in broadcast, media production, journalism, esports, or event management — and you believe young people deserve to learn from people who actually do the work — we want to hear from you.
Creator Academy Overview
Creator Academy is Mindset of Champions' professional media training program for high school students ages 15–18, delivered in partnership with PRO AM LIVE TV. Students train five days a week across five production disciplines: broadcast hosting, podcast and journalism, live production, video editing and social media, and event operations and sponsorship. The program runs as a six-week summer intensive and as a school-year curriculum at participating Philadelphia high schools. Students produce real content, earn a stipend, build a professional portfolio, and leave with a Creator Academy certification. The instructors who deliver this program are working media professionals — not generalists. Our students can tell the difference.
Open Instructor and Coaching Roles
We are hiring for both the summer intensive (June–August) and the school-year program (September–June). Roles are noted by season. Some roles are available year-round. All instructors must be able to pass a Pennsylvania criminal background check, child abuse history clearance, and FBI clearance prior to working with students. No exceptions.
Background Check Requirements — All Roles
All instructors, coaches, and on-site contributors working with students in the Mindset of Champions Creator Academy and MOC Ignite programs are required to obtain and submit the following Pennsylvania state clearances before their first day with students. No exceptions. Clearances must be current within the past five years.
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
Completed at epatch.pa.gov
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
Completed at compass.state.pa.us
FBI Fingerprint-Based Criminal Background Check (Act 114)
Completed through an authorized PA fingerprinting site
If you have current clearances from prior employment in a Pennsylvania school, childcare, or youth-serving organization, you may submit copies. Clearance costs may be reimbursed for candidates who complete the hiring process. Details provided upon offer.
Can't Teach Live? Contribute a Module.
Not every working professional can commit to a live teaching schedule. We understand that. If you have expertise in one of our five training areas and want to contribute to Creator Academy without a recurring schedule commitment — you can submit a recorded curriculum module for inclusion in the PRO AM LIVE TV Creator Academy library.
Accepted modules are edited, formatted, and published as self-paced learning content accessible to Creator Academy students on the PRO AM LIVE TV platform. Your name, credentials, and professional profile appear with your module. Students who complete your module receive credit toward their Creator Academy certification.
Module Requirements
- Original content — not repurposed content from another platform, program, or employer
- Minimum HD video quality (1080p). Clear audio is non-negotiable. If we cannot hear you clearly, the module cannot be used.
- 10 to 30 minutes per module. If your content requires more than 30 minutes, submit it as a multi-part series.
- Must align to one of the five Creator Academy training buckets. We do not accept general 'media tips' content.
- Each module must include a written teaching outline with: the specific skill being taught, 2–3 learning objectives, key teaching points, and one application exercise students can complete after watching.
- Submit a sample clip (minimum 3 minutes) before full module review.
Accepted Submission Areas
• Broadcast hosting and on-camera delivery
• Podcast production and interviewing
